     We are always looking for part-time cast members who can work in the fast paced field of Special Events! We deliver audio/visual equipment, props, furniture, tents and decor. We provide event staff, entertainers and production personnel at most events. As a full service event company, we set up and perform a variety of special event services for banquets, weddings, celebrations and promotions. If you have charisma, enthusiasm, talent and personality, you might be a great fit for our team!      Schedules and work opportunities vary week to week, with projects being primarily evenings and weekends. Training will be provided with advancement opportunities for those who excel. Flexible work hours. Must be able to lift 45 lbs.

Event Staff Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide event staffing support at various Entertainment Warehouse events for our customers and clients. This position will also work directly with the public (this includes children, adults, and elderly) and be responsible for providing guests with a positive impression of Entertainment Warehouse, Inc. by offering a superior guest-service experience. This position is expected to work cohesively with all employees of Entertainment Warehouse, Inc. in order to maintain a superior level of service. Job duties include, but not limited to: maintain and upkeep event equipment in our warehouse, transporting, setting-up, operating, staffing, and striking/retrieving our equipment at various venues to/from our office and warehouse.

This Event Staff position is currently offered as a part-time position. Candidates seeking employment, must have flexibility and willingness to work long and irregular hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by event schedule.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in prior positions or event services, customer service, and banquets preferred

  • Experience dealing effectively with conflict

  • Must possess strong customer service skills, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Must have friendly disposition, outgoing personality, and an infectious smile

  • Must be able to stay calm in stressful, fast-paced situations

  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record

  • Willingness to cross-train and work in various positions

  • Ability to work in a team environment, or on own

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas including stairs, escalators, carpet, and concrete

  • Ability to work in a variety of environments including, but not limited to: heights, elevators, in darkened event spaces, around crowds, loud noise, flashing lights, and haze effects

  • Ability to lift and carry up to a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
